The Harry A Sturges Research Library holds a vast collection of photographs, ephemera, maps,  RCS yearbooks, local history and genealogy records.  Much of the collection was donated by Harry Sturges from his personal collection.  Additional material is from the RCHS collection as well as items from other donors.   This material is available to researchers by appointment during normal business hours.  The Society also has the only collection of local newspapers from the Town of Coeymans.  Those copies are available to researchers on a very limited basis and by appointment only.
